peak performance coaching

Peak Performance Coaching is a process that helps individuals and teams reach their full potential.  It’s based on the belief that each individual has the power to make changes in their lives by taking responsibility for what they do, say and think. This type of coaching is sometimes referred to as “personal development.” The goal of Peak Performance Coaching is to help people develop skills in areas such as time management, focus, self-awareness and emotional intelligence so they can consistently produce high-quality work.

It’s no secret that people need Peak Performance Coaching. We are all going to be held accountable for our decisions and actions, and if we don’t have the tools to make good choices, then where do we turn? Whether it’s a mundane task like making dinner or something important like a career change, it can become too difficult without coaching. This is because sometimes when you’re stressed or overworked, your brain reverts back to old patterns of thinking. You may start feeling depressed and listless again or slip into bad habits from earlier in life that you’ve been trying so hard to break free from. In this case you know what you must do: get coaching!

It’s not just about the physical stuff. Yes, you’re going to practice your arm swing and the best stance for your next race but it’s about how you feel. The way the adrenaline shoots through your veins when you see that bright green starting line, or your racing heart as you wait at the starting gate waiting to hear “5-4-3-” That feeling is what we call performance anxiety and every racer has it in some shape or form.”

“You can’t do it alone.” That’s what my friend always tells me when I’m feeling down on myself. She’s right, of course. You need a team to back you up and there’s no one better than your coach. When I first met her she was all business, but eventually we got to know each other and now she often chats with me about our lives outside of the gym or pool or track field. We’ve shared some heartbreaking stories over the years so I’m lucky to have her as not just a trainer, but also as a friend. If you’re looking for someone who’ll push you through “just one more rep,” make sure they’re worth their weight in gold!

We all know that peak performance coaching is a powerful way to make changes in our lives. But, how do you actually start?

I recommend starting with an assessment of your current situation and skillset. What are the most important things you want to work on? Where would you like to be at the end of this coaching process? What will help get there? Next, what’s your timeline for achieving these goals? Finally, identify the barriers that have been preventing progress in this area so far – and brainstorm ways to overcome them.

“What is Peak Performance Coaching?”

This is a question that many people ask themselves when they see the term. Let’s get right to it! Peak Performance Coaching is this: you hire an expert in your field and have them work with you, coach you through some of your challenges so that you can reach the highest levels of performance possible.
